Today, we had one of our more inspirational coaching classes. I coached a group about Business Planning. It was a topic that completely changed my career and it felt invigorating to be part of a room full of energy and excitement. Through out the class, not only did we create the perfect business plan but we also shared personal success stories.
One of the ideas that we didn’t cover but think is important, is the thought of working with an experienced agent that is considering retiring or leaving the business by arranging a simple referral agreement. It amazes me how many agents spend the majority of their life working at building relationships and market share and then just simply walk away. Look around and you will notice that some of the most successful Realtors are approaching retirement age. Some need a fresh approach, some are just not willing to go through another down market and some are just simply tired.
No matter which end of the spectrum you’re at, why not leverage your strengths? It may allow you the opportunity to do the things you’ve always dreamed of doing and it’s a win, win for everyone involved.
